Brian White -- Artist, Designer, Writer
Yup he does it all from coding the site to drawing and writing the comic. Creating comics has been a dream of his for quite some time and the web has finally offered an avenue in which to create them. With the web you get all the wonders of self publishing without the heavy costs of printing. Of course creating a site and comic isn't worth much unless people see it...so if you like what you see spread the word! Oh, and Brian is also a soon to be gradute of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Not that Graphic Design really gives you a lot of experience creating websites and comics...
Well Atomic Tales is a fantasy comic that runs in a series of story arcs, all taking place in the land of Midgard. Yeah as you can tell the comic draws from certain mythologies, especially the Norse ones. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the old 1950’s and 60’s comics which often times had stories centered on a theme instead of a set cast of characters. Atomic Tales will center on a few different casts, but it will center more on the world and the peoples that live in it. Who lives there? Well the land is populated by living teddy bears, intelligent hamsters, mythical monsters, and the occasional human. Oh, and you guys need to know this is not a 'furry' comic. No half human/half animal people with their dicks hanging out screwing each other. Ahem, anyways you will notice that there will be other influences like the occasional use of H. P. Lovecraft, old science fiction movies, religion, and much more. This world will contain all sorts of wonders and adventures that will hopefully entertain you the reader. Heck you might even learn something while you read.
What can I expect from Atomic Tales?
Hopefully a wonderful reading experience where you learn a little and have fun. As far as like violence, language, and sex yeah sure you'll see some of that because this isn't necessarily a kiddy book. Hopefully it will be tastefully done...if such things can be tastefully done. Oh, and of course religion... wouldn't be right if I didn't talk about religion and other hot button topics. I mean how else is one to get noticed?
Character Profile: Tyr
The first character we met is named Tyr. He is loosely based off the Norse God of the same name. This teddy bear is a rather cold, mean character and one that has a score to settle.
Character Profile: ????
This is the second character we met. Who is this person or thing? Why does it have such a big smile? Why does Tyr want it dead? We'll learn more about this rather evil looking smile as the comic progresses.
